Job Description
Do you have experience working in the jewelry industry or a passion for fine jewelry? If so, we’d love to hear from you!
We’re looking for someone to join our two thriving businesses, Jensen Jewelers – the highest volume and highest rated bridal jeweler in West Michigan and Jensen Estate Buyers – West Michigan’s only dedicated estate buyer. No buying experience is necessary if you have the right background. We will provide expert training to the right candidate on all aspects of buying diamonds and precious metals.
We recently introduced a very generous profit sharing plan for our entire team.

Our hours are rather limited as compared to other retail operations so it provides a great lifestyle. We are closed on Wednesdays and Sundays!
Key Responsibilities
- Determine product values based on market pricing and business requirements
- Grading/appraising gemstones & diamonds
- Perform outside appraisals for all types of fine jewelry
- Support jewelry sales staff with gemological information
Minimum Job Qualifications
- Solid gemological experience
- Experience buying and/or selling jewelry
- Willingness to relocate if necessary
Work Hours Would Be:
Monday & Thursday: 9 am- 8 pm
Tuesday & Friday: 9 am – 6 pm
Saturday: 9 am – 4 pm
Store is closed Wednesday & Sundays
Each full-time employee is welcome to enjoy one late morning per week.
