Full Job Description
We’re looking for someone to join our thriving buying center, Jensen Estate Buyers, and support (with gemological information) the largest retail bridal jewelry store in West Michigan; Jensen Jewelers. No buying experience is necessary if you have the right background. Gemological training preferred but not required. We will provide expert training to the right candidate on all aspects of buying diamonds and precious metals.
Join a family, not a corporation. Our staff is very experienced and highly accomplished.
Our hours are rather limited as compared to other retail operations so it provides a great lifestyle. We are closed on Wednesdays and Sundays!
Key Responsibilities
- Determine product values based on market pricing and business requirements
- Grading/appraising diamonds
- Perform outside appraisals for all types of fine jewelry
- Support jewelry sales staff with gemological information

Schedule:
Monday & Thursday: 9 am- 8 pm
Tuesday & Friday: 9 am – 6 pm
Saturday: 9 am – 4 pm
Store is closed Wednesday & Sundays
Each full time employee is allowed to come in one hour late once a week.
